AC Stauble-Hill is an herb farmer, herbalist, product maker, educator and podcaster. She has been studying and growing herbs since 2012 and will continue to be a lifelong student of Nature. She's based on a small herb farm and homestead in Central NY on traditional Oneida lands, where she grows hundreds of varieties of medicinal herbs, fruits, trees and fungi. Using her homegrown herbs, AC creates small batch, hand-made herbal remedies like skin soothing salve, muscle rub, tinctures, teas and more under the brand, Traveling Herbe Farmer which you can check out at TravelingHerbFarmer.com.

AC loves sharing the things she's learned over the years with others, especially in hands on, engaging ways. She teaches classes and hosts interns and apprentices at the farm. She's the co-host of the Plant Cunning Podcast where she and her partner Isaac Hill interview some of the most interesting and inspiring herbalists, gardeners, astrologers, healers, and occultists of our time. They also host an in-person conference, The Plant Cunning Conference.

More about Actaea

The seeds of the Actaea Institute were planted when AC and Gabriel crossed paths at the Plant Cunning Herb Conference hosted by AC and her partner Isaac Alexander Hill at their herb farm in New York State. Cohosh Creek Herb Farm is also home of the Plant Cunning Podcast hosted by AC and Isaac. We owe it to Isaac for suggesting the title Actaea, the botanical name of the Black Cohosh species. An ancient symbol of the Feminine soul of the Ocean and of the Element Water, our intention is to be fluid and embracing, reflective of how we can adapt to the changing environment.

We are challenged to innovate, yet remain dedicated to the highest principles of clinical and business practice. AC and Gabriel share a long-held passion for plant medicine and natural healing as well as for sustainable, regenerative herbcraft, engaging and empowering learning, and community building.
